The “Tooth” about Unhappy Pets

July 15, 2020

Suddenly, Rover—or Fluffy—is grumpy, withdrawn, not eating.

The root cause could be dental—and treatable. Imagine what it might be like to have a raging
toothache, and not be able to communicate
your problem to those who could help.

Some symptoms to watch out for which indicate you need a visit to the veterinarian:

  • Mouth sores
  • Excessive drooling
  • Blood in saliva
  • Loss of appetite
  • Red gums
  • Yellow/brown-stained teeth
  • Cocking the head to avoid chewing on the sore side
  • Foul breath

Get a regular dental check for your pet. Both of you will be happier for it!
